The App is distributed only through the App Store storefronts in which OWN PLACE LLC makes it available. It is not distributed on storefronts in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. After download, the audiobook player may continue to function while the device is elsewhere, subject to the Terms of Use and applicable law.

AI Studio — the optional subscription that writes fictional books and narrates them (or narrates your own text books) on our server — is offered only to people who are physically located in one of the countries and regions listed below (the "Supported Territories") at the moment they purchase, top up, or place an order. AI Studio requires physical presence in a Supported Territory. Purchases also require availability in the current App Store storefront. These checks apply to new subscriptions, top-ups, and Service requests. An existing subscription may continue to renew through Apple while you are outside a Supported Territory unless you cancel it; unused monthly hours still expire. Eligibility is not based on citizenship, residence, or the country of your Apple Account. See the Terms of Use, Sections 4.9 and 7 and the Privacy Policy, Section 14.

In any other country or region not listed below, the AI Studio subscription and extra hours are not sold, and AI Studio requests are refused by our service before any order is created. The player and books already on your device keep working everywhere, and unused extra hours stay recorded for later use from a Supported Territory. Unused monthly hours expire at renewal, including while the subscriber is temporarily located outside the Supported Territories. If we remove the territory in which a subscriber purchased and ordinarily uses AI Studio, we will provide cancellation instructions and assist with an Apple refund request for any materially unusable paid period (Terms of Use, Section 4.9).

Sanctioned regions. Independently of the country list, AI Studio is not available to persons located in any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and our service separately blocks requests that originate from the Crimea region and the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine, as defined by OFAC, and any other region later designated as a Covered Region, even though Ukraine as a whole is a Supported Territory. The sanctions rules in Section 7 of the Terms of Use apply to everyone. GeoIP is a territorial control and does not by itself establish sanctions eligibility.

This list may change when required by law, regulation, a service-provider restriction, or an App Store requirement. We will give advance notice where reasonably practicable.

This includes, without limitation: all European Union member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, China, Macao, Türkiye, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Venezuela, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Myanmar, Cameroon, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Niger, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Seychelles.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland the whole App — not only AI Studio — is not distributed: it is not offered on those App Store storefronts.

If you are in a Supported Territory and the App says "AI Studio is not offered in your App Store country or region," make sure your Apple Account storefront matches the country you are in. If it says "Unable to load AI Studio purchases. Check your connection and try again.", check your Internet connection (the App needs to reach the App Store to load the products) and tap "Try again". If the problem persists, write to contact@ownplace.net.
